Is there much difference between the Samsung Galaxy S and Samsung Galaxy S II?
I'm getting a new phone and I always liked the look of the Galaxy S but now theres the Galaxy S II, are they really that different?

It's a little faster and more up to date. I had a Samsung galaxy s. The galaxy S II is just the improved version of the galaxy S really.

I would get the galaxy s 2 because of these reasons.
1) it has a dual core processor which already makes it faster than the iPhone 4 which has a single core processor.
2) galaxy s2 comes with the latest version of Android installed which makes the phone even faster and improves performance drastically compared to its predecessors.
3) its known as the fastest android device up to date. Even faster than the HTC sensation and the HTC EVO 3d.
4) it can take a better beating than the iPhone 4. If you drop the iPhone 4 even once, then you are screwed. The galaxy s2 wot beak even if you drip it once unless you drop it from a high height (dont try this).
It's also a common misconception from the other people that the iPhone 4 is the fastest phone right now. Android has long surpassed it and that is because of the dual core processors. The iPhone 4 used to be the best, but now its performance is just average.

i am getting a samsung galaxy s i9000, can i sync my contacts with my yahoo account like i can on the iphone?
i know i can sync my contacts from yahoo to the iphone, but i am getting a the samsung i9000 and was wondering if i can do the same with that or have i got to put all my contacts in manually (yawn)

Samsung I9000 Galaxy S
After using this phone for a week, I've fallen in love with it.
- Interface is very snappy.
- The screen is incredible. Very bright and the colours are outstanding, and just the perfect size.
- The AllShare app for playing content from a UPnP server is nice. At home, I can store my entire collection of music and videos and play whichever I want.
